Work caught up with me... again.

I apologize for not updating the journal nor setting up the much-announced contest, but I just have to wear too many hats: translator, newspaper contributor, radio presenter, devoted blogger, public speaker, photographer, husband, father... I'm actually thankful that I'm such an antisocial being I have very few friends, and most of them thousands of miles away from where I sit, some even in DA.

But I still find time to shoot, especially when I have a chance such as the one I enjoyed these days, having the amazing and sweet Kat Love visiting town, staying at our house and modeling. I enlisted lovely petite Carla García to aprtner with Kat in a somewhat adventurous series of photos contrasting their wildly different beauty and female-ness but also trying to achieve an interplay which made the viewer oblivious to the obvious differences.

I'm happy with the result, and I do hope Kat and Carla agree.

I also had the chance to go with a group of photographers to Carabanchel Jail before it was torn down. Jails are always sad places, and the work of hundreds of graffitti artists just made that sadness more poignant.
